Personality:
Originally a gentle, caring and cheerful pokemon. Yveltal is now a ruthless, stubborn and unrepentant villain that has no qualms of killing anybody who tries to stop its plans. It is also extremely overconfident, often viewing its opponents as mere Magikarps. Yveltal strongly believes that every good will turn to evil overtime. It also remains loyal to its former Trainer, believing that its trainer would be proud if Yveltal is able to cleanse the world. Yveltal is also very manipulative, allying with the Dark Masters only to use their resources to complete its plans. Yveltal also has a very soft spot for its deceased trainer and whoever that reminds it of him.

History:
About 1,000 years ago, Yveltal was owned by a heroic Trainer. Yveltal's Trainer loves to help people and believed that he can change the world by showing people the values of doing good deeds. The Trainer had a younger brother, a brother that he swore to protect at all costs. The younger brother was pure at heart and enjoys helping the Trainer in his missions to change the world.
However, people who envies the Trainer begin to instigate the younger brother that he was inferior to the Trainer just because he didn't own a powerful Pokemon like Yveltal. Envious, the younger brother then devises a plan to kill the Trainer and own Yveltal's power for himself.
One day, Yveltal's Trainer was informed that his younger brother was kidnapped. The kidnappers supposedly asked for a massive amount of money for ransom. When Yveltal and its Trainer arrived at the place for ransom, they were ambushed by dozens of powerful trainers. The Trainer saw the supposed leader of the kidnappers bringing his brother away from the fight. The Trainer decides to go after the leader by himself and orders Yveltal to deal with the kidnappers on its own.
Yveltal proved to be too powerful for the kidnappers to deal with and are swiftly defeated. It then rushed to its Trainer's location, only to realize that it was too late.. The younger brother had stabbed his own brother with a longsword. As the Trainer slowly dies, he apologizes to the younger brother for whatever he has done to deserve it and tells the younger brother that he will always love him no matter what. As he drew his final breath, the Trainer tells Yveltal to continue his mission in changing the world with good deeds. However, the enraged Yveltal went on a rampage. Killing the younger brother and destroying the whole area. It then went to parts unknown.
Years has passed after its Trainer's death and Yveltal saw more pure hearts and heroes turn to evil. As a result, it came with a conclusion that its Trainer's method are useless and thinks that the World is damaged. Yveltal vows to restart the World anew and cleanse it off the evil that plague it. Yveltal then starts carrying out its plan first by abducting a genius scholar.
It then enslaves people and pokemon alike to build a weapon designed by the scholar, with Yveltal personally empowering it. However, Xerneas and its Trainer came to know of Yveltal's plans. As Xerneas and its Trainer confronts Yveltal, the weapon was destroyed. Furious that its plan has failed, Yveltal attacks Xerneas violently. After an intense and destructive battle, Xerneas and its Trainer managed to gain the upper hand. Yveltal was defeated and is accidentally killed. However, with its last remaining energy. Yveltal steals the life energy of nearly every living thing in Kalos before transforming into a cocoon for the next millennium.
Now, Yveltal has been awakened. Vowing to have revenge on Xerneas and to complete its plans, to wipe out the Digimon threat and restarting Poke-earth all over again. But, unknown to the Digidestined and Yveltal itself. Matt, one of the Digidestined looks exactly like Yveltal's former Trainer..
