Being the only of the four Kanto D-Sphere users who lives outside Pallet Town, Yellow returned home to her village. In her nightgown, Yellow laid on her bed, looking out the window. The Digidestined's world hanging up in the sky.
Her visit to that world was brief, but it was quiet interesting. Seems almost like the cities down here. Maybe someday in the future she might see more... maybe. Just two days ago she had a chance to encounter children from that world who changed her life.
On her lap, over the blanket, Chu slept. Still a Pichu, having drained all her energy from being an 'ultimate'. Chu, her best friend and first pokemon, not only became a Raichu and turn back to her previous forms, but managed to become a butt-kicking martial artist mouse-girl called Kilachu!
Doduo slept in the barn, cuddled up against his Dodrio mother. Alongside Chu, Doduo had also been her first pokemon. Both given to her by her parents. It wasn't until this crazy adventure that she started to gain more friends.
The first was Abra, given to her by Prof. Oak. Like he's always been, the psychic shrew was asleep, floating in the corner of Millie's room. Both he and Doduo were mostly used as transportation through this adventure, but both have became good friends.
Then there was Butterfree. Like most children in her village, the first pokemon she caught was a Caterpie. Amazingly it wasn't until today she decided to do so. The butterfree slept on her wall, amazingly not falling off. Its fun when Yellow uses Butterfree to fly, being picked up makes her feel like a fairy with Butterfree's wings.
The only one who wasn't asleep was Yellow's newest and most powerful pokemon, even compared to Kilachu. Mewtwo, who sat just outside her window.
"Couldn't sleep?"
"<No.>" He replied with his own voice, since the girl would understand him. Its not the fact that he's been captured that's bothering him, he feels he can trust this girl, and willing to give her a chance.
What was on his mind was the spiral mountain miles ahead. Part of it was made from the region Johto. There, he hid many of his clone companions. Whatever digimon is behind this, he worries for those clone's safety. "<You should get some sleep. Its going to be a big day.>"
"I lived on a farm all my life, I'm use to waking up early." Yellow smile. Shifting a bit so she won't bother Chu, she rested her head on the windowsill, looking up to the sky. "You know the saying, 'Be careful what you wish for'?"
He nodded.
"Guess I should have taken it to heart more. I always wanted a big adventure, something t see beyond this forest. I always thought it'll be a normal trainer journey, but... well, not quite a world saving thing."
"<... Your wish didn't cause this.>"
"I know, but still..." Yellow sighed, "Can't help but feel partially responsible. I don't mind meeting all the people I have encountered, learning about other worlds and digimon, but... I could do without anyone dying and the hurting."
He's never been in a situation like this before. Back at the mountains, he protected the clones like a village chief, but they never talk to him in such a manner, so... openly and friendly. The closest was the Pikachu and Meowth clones, but they never seek to be comforted with their problems from him. "<Everything... will be alright.>"
She smiled, "I hope so... good guys always win in the end... right?"
Real life doesn't work like that, but he rather not upset this girl. "<You might say that.>"
She sink her head back into her room, "Well, night Mewtwo. Don't stay up too late."
