He's only just starting out and I'm unsure of how his party is gonna turn out, so A_C said we can sort that out as we go along.
Name:
Emerald
Nicknames:
Rald
Age:
11
Gender:
Male
Residence:
Johto
Occupation:
Trainer
Partner:
Team/Forms:
Abilities: (Optional)
Emerald is skilled at identifying the "origin site" of a Pokemon, and has a 'pistol' that shoots soil from a variety of different places to calm Pokemon down. He also is adept in battle tactics, and considerable dexterity with his 'artificial limbs extensions'.
Weaknesses:
* Possesses a bit of animosity for mons (he cares less about Pokemon themselves and more about the battles, but we all know he's gonna grow out of this eventually ).
* Also is somewhat prideful.
* Short, and relies too much on his extensions.
Personality:
Emerald is the sort of trainer who likes battling, but doesn't seem to care so much about the Pokemon themselves, though this is not so much genuine dislike of them, rather he's focused more on his goals of becoming a great battler that he doesn't realize how important it is to care about Pokemon, and he also doesn't want the Pokemon he works with to be insulted for being like artificial limbs for him. He has a Napoleon complex, due to being teased because of his height. He's not a bad guy, though he prefers to work alone and gets annoyed when others butt into his activities. That being said, he does have a decent sense of morality.
Likes:
* Pokemon battles
* Improving himself
* Crystal
Dislikes:
* Losing
* Being short
* Having his skill doubted by others
Appearance:
History:
Emerald was one of the orphans that Crystal helped out, and was inspired by her to become a trainer. He always was a natural with working with Pokemon, as he often needed their help for many tasks due to his lack of height. However, he also possessed an animosity for Pokemon that Professor Oak picked up on, refusing him a Pokedex initially, causing Emerald to go through several months of training to improve himself, spent his time roaming around, and met the Trick Master, who gave him the gadgets that were inspired by a faraway land.
Anything else? (Optional)
