Name:
Norn Mikihara
Nicknames:
Norn
Age:
14
Gender:
Female
Residence:
Occupation:
Trainer
Partner:
Porygon
Abilities: (Optional)
Like some people of Pokearth, she has a rare psychic ability. Though hers is a form of technopathy. She's able to understand technobabble as it were her native tongue, and just by touching any digital electronic, she can link her mind with it. She doesn't know how she has this ability, if she's a psychic like the infamous Saffron Gym Leader or has a special gift like she heard of people bonding with pokemon. However, since Porygon is a digital pokemon, she finds herself closely link with such a pokemon and its evolution.
Weaknesses:
She's very shy about her abilities, worried some people would find her strange or a freak and will only reveal it to a trusted few. Even without the powers, Norun can be really shy, not very a loud speaker. Being a orphan, Norun questions her past, wondering who her family is.
Personality:
Norun is a kind girl, she's honest and doesn't want to cause any harm. She can be shy, nervous when it comes to new people, but once she gets used to a person, she's more open. She loves nature and pokemon, at the same time she has a special interest with science and technology. Sometimes she'll even speak in a technobabble without noticing.
Likes:
Porygon, Pokemon, Nature, Digital Technology,
Dislikes:
Big crowds, being yelled at, being shunned for her powers
Appearance:
History:
To begin with, Norun is a orphan. Not a single person knows who her real parents are. Raised in an orphanage in Violet City, Norun studied at the Pokemon Academy until she was ready to become a trainer, trying to hide her strange abilities of her link with technology. When she got her license, instead of choosing the usual Johto Starter Trio, Norun's starter was a pokemon she felt she could trust in with her abilities, a Porygon.
Anything else? (Optional)
If there's one Digimon series I'm totally not sure to bring in is Digimon NEXT. The Digimon Online/virtual digital world is what we're doing in Tribute, so bringing it here would be redundant. Sides, this brings in perhaps an interest story arc for Norun.
