"Um... thanks for understanding Dad..." Matt managed to say, can't believe he forget the parents was right there in front of the argument.

Izzy's mother then looked at her son, gulping a bit. "Before...anything...Izzy, we need to talk to you in private."

"Uh... sure... okay..." "Righto!" And buzzed over... He held his hand out. "Private, Tentomon... as in... only me and my parents..." "Ah... okay..." And buzzed back.

And they walked down further down the beach. Meanwhile, the pink nurse approached the group. "If you kids are going anywhere, further outside New Bark, there're two roadways. One leading to Orre, and the other leading to something called Puppetmon Fun-Land." "....sounds like an amusement park of death." she dryly said.

"I guess we won't be going to Machinedramon then..." He noted. "Puppetmon will be next, I guess?" "Mom... dad..." He said once they were alone...

Trying to shake off what Matt said, "...well, if he's close by, then it can't be helped. We'll get going as soon as Izzy is done with his folks." The girl sobbed, in fettle position. "Mimi, if we stay here in the open for too long, the next Dark Master might show up to blast our heads off, and they may destroy this town with it." The married couple walked down much as they could, still a bit weirded by the black void that was the ocean. Frankly, Izzy's father broke the ice. "Well...after you fought those things...me and your mother thought we may never see you again when you'll have to go out there to fight. So...we talked...and we decided to finally tell you....that we're not your real parents." he somberly said, lowering his head, as well as his wife.

"...I...I already know...." He spoke up, glancing at him. "I...I overheard you talking to mom about it... one night... by accident..."

"Tai..." Joe sighed a little. Not exactly the best choice of words, but he digressed. He glanced at Mimi again. "...it's tough, I know... but we... need to try and keep moving..." He just shook his head. "Well, this went south very fast, this conversation." "Sssh..."

"Well, that's a start." Wes jumps onto his bike, "Hey Pigtails, you coming or you staying with the Tandy Computer Whiz Kids?" Glances from Wes then at Rui, "You guys going to be okay out there against Cipher?"

Sobbing, she rubbed her eyes. "Don't cry, Mimi." she pleaded, patting her back. "...is that why you lock yourself in your room?" his mother assumed.

He nods. "...and hide behind my computer. I wanted to forget what I've overheard that night... but, it never worked..."

Joe still held Mimi's shoulder somewhat comfortingly, patting her lightly there.
"...well, as long as he doesn't get himself slammed by any of Cipher's sleeping things, I think we should be fine." Rui spoke, glancing between Misty and Ash, who was still just silently contemplating. "...but... what about you? You've got someplace to be right now, don't you?"

"It's the surprising, it's who you are." Izzy's father sighed. "You see, in many ways, you're the living image of your real father."

He gasped. "W-Wait... you knew my real father...?!"

"He was a fine man and a brilliant mathematician. He and I were distant cousins...I was his only living relative, and your mother had no family of her own, so...when it happened..." Closing his eyes in sadness, and shame. "Late, one night, there was a terrible car accident...neither of them survived."
Twiddling her hands, his mother lowered her head. "We had lost a little boy of our own...just before. So...when we were asked if we wanted to take care of you...well...it seemed like a sign, you know. We said yes."
