@tyson@ "Sceptile, use Solar Beam!!!"
@sceptile@ And the grassy lizard (SOMEHOW!) instantly launched an explosion solar blast from its mouth. Crashing right onto the Ice Beam, both attacks gave off a thundering explosion, which its smoke engulfed the entire field.

Ash quickly crossed his arms, closing his eyes due to the sudden attack. ...nnh... can't lose now...

@sceptile@ When the dust cleared, both Pokemon were on the ground in daze.
"Unbelivable! Both Solarbeam and Ice Beam knocked both Pokemon out. Looks like this set the stage for quite a show."

"Nnh..." This was going to be tough... just like against Harrison... "...let's go!" And he tossed out... @torkoal@ ...this one, who let out a small cry.

And the battle reigned fierce and hard. Tyson retaliated with a Shiftry against Ash's Torkoal. While Tyson was at a type advantage, his Shiftry wore Torkoal down with Mega Kick and Shadow Ball. But in the end, Torkoal reigned victorious...only for Tyson's Hariyama to finish off the fire turtle. Ash tried fending off the sumo with his Corphish, but even its hard claws weren't enough. And with Ash only having three Pokemon left, they went with a five minute intermission.
The battle continued, with the field switching to a rock field. Ash chose his flyer, Swellow, while Tyson brought back his Hariyama, who nearly brought the bird down, but Swellow's surprise attacks brought it victory. Then came Tyson's Donphan, who tried flattening the bird with Rollout. But the bird displayed surprising strength by lifting the beast and bringing it down to the ground. Then came Metagross, a Steel type that Swellow stood little chance against before it was brought down. Ash brought forth his Grovyle in Swellow's place, who rapidly kept striking the armored Pokemon, but even he wasn't enough. That left only Pikachu, who brought the creature down.
@meowth2@ So all was left was Tyson's Meowth, one dressed like a Musketeer. The clad feline was in the middle of their battle, sprinting alongside the rodent while trying to slash him with his long claws.

In turn, Pikachu was rapidly striking back with Iron Tails and Quick Attacks galore, trying to weather the feline down. "Come on, Pikachu! I know you can do it!" He tried to cheer, but worry grabbed him. What if Pikachu couldn't...?

@meowth2@ This Meowth seem like a mirror of Pikachu, for it had most of his own attacks, including Thunderbolt and Iron Tail. Speaking of which, both Pokemon struck with their own Iron Tails, launching each other right onto rocks. "Unbelievable!! Both sides have taken direct hits!! And both Pokemon are down for the count!!" "Hey!! Get up!! Youse gonna give us Meowths a bad name!!" the Team Rocket Meowth snarled, watching the match from a dark corner of the stadium.

Ash's eyes were wide. "Pikachu!!" Groaning, Pikachu attempted to the best of his ability to get back up.

@meowth2@ And the snazzily dressed Meowth stood up, barely able to keep conscious.

Ash clenched his hands. It would come down to the wire... if Pikachu could just... But alas, it wasn't meant to be. Pikachu collapsed, unable to keep fighting. "...Pikachu...!"

"Pikachu is unable to battle. The winner is trainer Tyson will proceed to the final four." said the ref before the crowd cheered.

He hurried over to Pikachu, kneeling by him. He lost again... just like before... "...good match..." he uttered, as he picked Pikachu up.

@max@ From the audience, Ash's three friends hoped that their friend wasn't feeling too horrible about the lost...especially Brock, since this is the third Pokemon League that Ash lost in. "Don't worry!" she called. "You-" "Hahaha!!" And the Team Rocket Meowth landed on the young boy's head. "I'm so proud ta be a Meowth!! Whatta loser!" Loser!
Loser
LoserThis battle proved to be one of Ash's toughest, yet, even before the Lily of the Valley Conference of Sinnoh. His opponent, Tobias, had only two Pokemon he only uses, beside his other four, and two was all he needed, for they are two Legendaries; Darkrai, and Latios. Heracross, Torkoal, Swellow, Sceptile, Gible...it took all of them to at least take down Darkrai. So now it's Pikachu vs Latios.

"WHAT A RIP!!!" Shouting from the stands was a certain monkey-like elf, "TWO LEGENDARIES?! OH COME ON, ARE THE WRITERS EVEN TRYING TO BE FAIR?! LET THE KID LOOSE WITH DIGNITY, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!" Nervously, she tried to pull her partner away. "Dude, you trying to get us in trouble?!" But Trab gave her a hard time, "COME ON! EVEN THE BATTLE FRONTIER AND REAL LIFE TOURNAMENTS HAS RULES ON NOT USING CERTAIN LEGENDARIES!!! YOU MEAN THE POKEMON LEAGUES ALLOWS A TRAINER TO USE NOT ONE, BUT TWO?! THAT IS F*****ING BULL-" "We'reoutofhere!" With a mighty heave, Asil pulled Trab out of the audience, and out of the dream.

Pikachu was already at a gigantic disadvantage; up against a Legendary, and even being Ash's last Pokémon... but that didn't stop him from giving it his all. "You can do it!" Ash tried to remain positive... but the boy already knew it was a lost cause. Just like before... and before that... and before that... he was going to lose.
